Tour Description

Every country has its natural wonders, and Kazakhstan has many. One of the most famous and beautiful natural attractions is the Charyn Canyon, located in the foothills of the Tian Shan, near the border with China. It leaves no one indifferent, touching invisible strings in the soul and making you want to return again and again. The road to the Charyn canyons passes through the Soviet Valley, which stretches between the Ketmen and Ulken-Boget mountain ranges.

The Moon Canyon (in Kazakh - Uzunbulak) consists of clay, and its shapes and composition are very different from canyons like the Valley of Castles. It is a wilder place, usually with few people, and sometimes completely deserted. The Yellow Canyon has great potential for walks and explorations.

The canyon is called both Yellow (the color scheme corresponds) and Moonlit (at night under the full moon, it seems illuminated). When there is no moon and the sky is clear, myriad stars are visible, along with the rare lighting of mountains and valleys.
